Youth Grief Retreat
About the Retreat
Our youth retreat provides a supportive space for young individuals to connect with peers who are also navigating grief. Through creative and therapeutic activities, participants can process their emotions in a meaningful way. Facilitated by experienced therapists and skilled volunteers, the retreat offers a variety of activities tailored to grieving youth, including peer support groups, art projects, music therapy, and recreational activities.
Who: Youth aged 13-18 who have experienced the loss of a significant person in their lives. This can include siblings, parents, guardians, or other close family members. We understand that family looks different for everyone. If you have any questions about whether this program is right for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
When: Stayed tuned for Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 retreat dates
Fee: $100 (No one is turned away if payment is a barrier - No questions asked).
What to Expect
At the youth grief retreat, participants will engage in:

We will provide you with a detailed packing list to ensure that you are fully prepared for your upcoming trip.

This is an electronics-free retreat, so we kindly ask that you leave laptops, tablets, and iPads at home.
Youth may bring cell phones for travel purposes and are welcome to use them as cameras during the retreat. However, all other functions—such as email, texting, and social media—must remain turned off throughout the retreat to ensure a fully immersive experience.
